Hello.  We are looking to retire to Spain in the near future and very much like the look of Camposol, and will be looking to spend some time here to get a feel for the place.  Aside from the practical side of retiring to Spain, buying a property, finance, location, etc., one of the things I was wondering is if there is a running club, or local group of runners, that meet up regularly to go on runs and, say, go for a coffee afterwards? Or if there are any plans to setup a ParkRun in Camposol, which is the weekly free timed run on a Saturday morning, which started in the UK but is a global thing? Thanks.

I have seen individuals running but not a group so I don't think there is an organised timed run but I might be wrong. There isn't a park here on Camposol but plenty of road to run around or even up on the campo, providing it hasn't been raining. There are various classes e.g. Spin, Yoga, Zumba and various ones at the gym centre on B. Personally I go down to the port and meet with my friend and use the outside free gym overlooking the sea, taking various things with us e.g. Yoga mats, weights, boxing pads and gloves plus we also run along the paseo - it makes it more fun rather than mundane.

Thank you, good to hear there are some runners, who I can maybe hook up with, and that there's lots of other activities going on to, just what we are looking for.
