Can anyone tell me

1).Is  Euro38 a month correct for a Rosa empty with electricity switched off? Are there better tariff options for villa empty for 5 months of year?

2).How much Aqualia is going to charge in standing charges Basuras and other contributions for an empty and turned off Rosa with no swimming pool? How often does aqualia bill you in a year? What do you pay Aqualia for your Rosa?

Any advice/comments would be welcome.

Thanks

1)

If it is a 5 kw or above that sounds about right.

2)

Presuming no water usage at all you will be looking at around 45 euro every two months.

For water / rubbish / sewage.

Every tow months is Aqualia's billing cycle.

Yes if you reduce to a 3.3kw supply you standing charge will drop to around 14 euro per month.

BUT if you use lots of electric when you are at the property then it will be constantly tripping out.

There will also be a one off cost to change the supply I would think.

cheers roland, just personal choice but i think id rather save 120e,  then being more tactful using leccy so not tripping it , for 7mnth , as empty for 5mnth, over year be a saving of 280e , eg do washing late at night, but each to their own .

Thanks Roland and Oink. Certainly food for thought. £38euro a month for an empty villa does sound a bit excessive and scope for a fair saving suggested by Oink - Thanks fellas :)
