Hi all

Just received our first water bill. Can someone please confirm if there is just one water supplier for Camposol and if so, how are the charges worked out? On water useage or set charge dependant on property size.

The invoice we have received from Aqualia doesnt state our property address at all, just says Camposol!! Rather random

Any help would be most appreciated

There is only one water supplier on Camposol & that is Aqualia.

Bills are issued every 2 months & the meter in the street is read every 2 months.

The first page of your bill has 3 sections Agua ( water ) Basura ( bins ) & CANON SANEAMIENTO ( sewage )

Use Google Lens or Google translate.

Top right hand side of the first page of your bill says as below ( taken from my latest water bill )

LECTURA ANTERIOR: 513 FECHA: 04/04/2023

LECTURA ACTUAL: 520 FECHA: 07/06/2023

CONSUMO: 7 TIPO: REAL

DÍAS: 64

The above is the previous & latest meter reading & the actual usage in cubic metres.

On the second page of your bill the 3 sections are itemised.

On my property bill you are charged a fixed price for up to 15 cubic metres usage at about 12.50 euro.

So even if you only use 7 cubic metres you will still be charged for 15 cubic metres.

Anything over 15 cubic metres you are charged at a higher rate.

The base charge may be different on a bigger property.

The bins & sewage charges are self explanatory.

Your water bill really should have you property address on.

I would get in touch with the solicitor who dealt with your property purchase & tell them to sort it out for you.

HTH

Thank you so much for such a detailed and more importantly helpful reply.

Much appreciated 😊
