Hello,
after everything went well with our house purchase last year and I would like to thank you again for all the help, I have a question: How do I get mail? We don't have any mailboxes in our urbanisation. Actually, everything is done electronically by e-mail. We have registered a car in Spain. If we were to receive a parking ticket or fine for a violation (which of course hardly ever happens :-), how do we get it? Maybe it's other mail from an authority that is not sent electronically, how do we get it? There are these systems with letterboxes, but they look badly damaged and broken!
Looking forward to an answer
Greetings from cold Germany
Andy

You can register with the DGT - or indeed the Agencia Tributaria (tax man) to get notified by email if there are notices served on you.
This saved us a lot of trouble when the tax man decided that we needed to attend their office to discuss an alleged underpayment. We were in the UK, and the meeting was scheduled by them for before we were due to return, with the threat of hefty fines for non-attendance etc. Because we knew about it we were able to change the appointment and avoid fines.
It is easiest if you have a Digital Certificate, but to me this is essential anyway, to access the health service and so on.

Thank you!
We are registered with the Agencia Tributaria because we also have to pay the IBI. I didn't know that this tax authority is also responsible for fines and so on.

The mail goes to the post office on B sector next to Black bull. They hold it for 2 weeks then send it back. You can open a post box there for an annual charge

Thank you very much, but hopefully these are not the broken fans opposite Piccolos in the car park?!

No they are inside the post office next to black bull
... If the post goes back after 2 weeks, it doesn't help us as we are only in Camposol for a few weeks a year. Maybe a Gestoria can help, but thank you very much!

I don;t think official mail can be sent to a po box - official stuff and signed for stuff has to have a street address and will be returned in about a week if uncollected by Correos.
You can simply register your email to be notified of fines - just look in the menu at DGT website.

IBI and Car tax bills are viewable and payable online too:

The fines for traffic offences are from the DGT - you can register with them to be advised of notices. Fines for municipal taxes unpaid are from your Ayuntamiento who may not have a system to advise you to look (like the tax & DGT sites) so best to get everything on direct debit then nothing should be late or unpaid.
