Hi we are in the process of buying a second hand car . Looking at insurances some seem to have breakdown cover included as they can do in England. Just wondering if anyone knows if in Spain they have seperate breakdown companies as they do in UK for eg AA , RAC . Any advice on insurance co?

Most insurance companies here in Spain include breakdown insurance, it is illegal to self tow or even a garage to tow a car on a public road.
I have used the breakdown services supplied by the insurance companies, which are recognised garages and the service has always been quick and efficient.
About 20 odd years ago when I was a newbie from the UK, I used RACE which is the equivalent of the RAC but they only did the same as the insurance companies.
I am with Linea Direct for all of my insurances and have no complaints whatsoever, and can throughely recommend them
