Renting in La Puebla
Hi , can anyone tell me what it is like to rent out a property in La Puebla. Is it good for holiday rentals and will it appeal to the golfing community? Thanks

I’m not a golfer but if you mean La Puebla close to Mar Menor Golf, I would think it would be highly unlikely. MMGR has restaurants, bars etc both within the resort and outside on the Boulevard. Currently it’s closed for a refurb. Also the hotel on the resort rents out apartments with golf deals which are hard to compete with, I assume this will continue once the course is open again.
In this particular area most golfers I would think would prefer to be on a golf resort. Just my thoughts though others may differ.
Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know about the refurb. I was thinking about having a neutral base giving the golfers an array of courses to chose from and the non golfers are away from the golfing community. I will certainly do my homework. Thanks again

I think they do offer trips to other courses on MMGR. It was definitely happening when I was there in September.
Hopefully you’ll get other responses from Golfers which can help you

As a non golfer, without wishing to be rude, I’d rather be on MMGR than La Puebla. Mainly because there are lots of facilities and access to swimming pools.

Not a lot to attract golfers or non golfers to La Puebla..also as a non resident (presuming you will be) you pay 24% tax on all income with no offset expenses so by the time you pay a management company etc it might not be worth it.

Hello . La Puebla is only a small village. Yes it has a bar , a restaurant, bakery and a couple of shops but we don't get many golfers staying on a holiday. That said the area itself is good presuming you have transport. I have played at the Roda resort - very nice and Roda is close to Los Alcazares. As previously mentioned Mar Menor golf course is currently closed but the resort I would suggest is a good place to stay with the adjacent boulevard offering bars and restaurants. Hope this helps.
