Hopefully there will be a better Daily selection of flights to Choose from and at reasonable price.As at the  Moment Prices have increased substantially for People who own Properties and wanting just flights without Accommodation 

Not sure about cheaper flights. Depends where you're flying from. I live next to Luton airport and Ryanair flights are really cheap from Luton to Murcia. Can't see them bringing the price down when they transfer to new airport. Taxis are expensive at Murcia airport and they will be expensive from the new airport. Aena run Luton airport too. 

They have more than a few white elephant airports in Spain. Who knows if the new airport will be a success. Time will tell.
