Good afternoon , I have received info that The Mar Menor area is to go into lock down , due to people from inland trying to get to the holiday homes , is this true ??

Not just the Mar Menor, all areas are affected. According to the Spanish news schools, universities, bars, restaurants, markets etc have all been closed. People are being advised to take orecautions and stay away from crowds.

Yes. San Pedro del Pinatar is one of the towns on lockdown. Police will be enforcing this and checking why you are out.
