Hi,

Just buying a house in Lo Pagan, it comes complete with all furniture etc. We intend to rent it out for holiday lets and for our own holidays.

1. We need someone who can do meet and greets, cleaning, laundry etc.

2. We need to get rid of some /a lot of the contents, if I hire a van is there a local tip I can just drive to?

3. Bathroom will need refiting, any suggestions for builders handyman?

4. Also need 2 x air conn units, an electric water heater (gas one at the moment)

5. Fibre broadband.supplier?

Regards

Jim

First thing I would do is start the process of getting a licence for renting. This can take a while I understand.

We are in the process of completing the purchase of a bungalow in Camposol (hopeful before the end of August), so are not able to help you, but are interested to see the advice that you get, since it will mostly apply to us too.

Please don't  throw ANYTHING  away. There is  abject poverty here.   MABS  San Javier may collect stuff for free,  also  the DEN  in Pilar De HORDADA  may take furniture ..  nothing is NOT valuable here .. nothing.. take urself along to the Sunday market in San Javier  and see poverty stricken field workers who are paid a pittence  examining chipped mugs in view of a purchase.  Failing both the above  the local Cruz Roja  may take what's left.

On the letting side  outside of July n Aug  the area is generally fairly quiet.

I totally agree re please don’t throw anything out, I was saddened when I visited Sunday market to witness real poverty🧐😔

Good morning Jim,

For bathroom refitting, I highly recommend Reformas David. Very professional and reliable, he is Spanish but speaks English. He refurbished our house and we are extremely satisfied.

You can contact him by WhatsApp:

+34 606 69 76 02

He can also help you with Aircon units and electric water heater installation.

Regards

Joelle
