Stair lift
Hi,
I have a question about stair lifts in communal stairs in a block of apartments.
We have a second floor apartment with no lift. During the last year (and not being able to visit due to COVID), my husband has developed a bad knee. It may be that at some point in the future the knee will need replacing. We love our apartment and it’s location, and the costs involved in selling (even if we could find a buyer in the current climate) and buying something else is a big consideration.
I seem to have heard or read a few years ago that a stair lift can be fitted in communal stairs. Does anyone know about this? I will also try to contact the management, but they are not easy to get hold of, and I wanted some info to present to them.
