There are several medical centres both public and private in Los Alcazares Los Narejos. The nearest emergency hospital is the public one at Los Arcos probably a ten minute drive from LN.

Hi yes there were were problems a couple of years ago but this affected the whole of the Costa Calida. Los Narejos does hold a little water when there is heavy rain but this soon clears and flooding is not something that we have ever encountered.

Work is proceeding on a giant culvert or drain running round Los Alcazares, hopefully keeping flood water out. You can see this at the Torre Pacheco exit from the AP7.
