Takeaways

CAB state that we are currently in phase 0 which may be the situation until 11 May. In this phase things will  gradually be introduced, such as the exercise allowances/times and garden allotment rules which have just been brought in today. The takeaway food situation hasn’t been addressed yet and will be explained as and when it is allowed. CAB Spain is an excellent place to look for details on relaxing of lockdown.

There is a difference between takeaway and home delivery - the recent surge of restaurants offering food seem all to have been takeaway only, before that some (including Pearls' Plaice) had started home delivery. Everything will change soon as we move into a different phase of relaxation of restrictions. Watch out for confusions, like two people in a car does NOT mean two go into the shop - it does not take a genius to work out that extra people in a store especially if they take a trolley each round takes up that space needed for social distancing, and short travel to buy food has always been permitted, but is a takeaway meal shopping for food?

Use common sense and all should be well.
