Corvera arrivals Monday 4th November
Only 3 flights 1 arr easy jet 10:10
1 arr Ryanair. 20:30
1 arr Ryanair 20:40
Surely it’s time to close this expensive white elephant staff all day waiting for 2 flights in the eve one to east midland one to Manchester
They could save a fortune transferring these 3 to Alicante
My wife is on the easyJet flight and it is under half full

I am not bothered about them saving a fortune - I am bothered about them costing us a fortune due to vastly increased costs to get to and from Alicante and the wasted time!
The answer is for the Murcia government to get Aena to encourage more flights to RMU. Ryanair are almost certainly playing poker with Aena on landing fees.

We have 2 trips booked for next year, both from/to RMU, both with Jet2. It's not just the comfier seats....lol

They have had subsidised flights into corvera this has now finished and so it seems are the flights with Ryanair etc but why would you employ people all day for an airport open from 7-11am then 5-9pm crazy waste of money and Ryanair not flying into corvera in winter ?? Easy jet are not flying everyday so night as well open mon we’d fri close test of week

What about those who do not live near Alicante. We have a round trip of 4 hours when our friends and family visit and land at Alicante.
Ryanair are flying into Corvera during the Winter. We fly into London Stansted and back again.
We have flights booked!!

Glad you can manage it Donna, but for those using Leeds/Bradford it is Jet2 or nothing!

Yes totally agree... my friends and family travel from leeds bradford airport... for my family its cost a small fortune to get to Manchester airport... and isn't a viable option for them.
