It took them over a year to get it matriculated, with the car having to be transported to an approved technical expert in the Basque country by trailer, several thousand euros in fees and taxes, then constantly being pulled over by Trafico, either for a look and a chat, or to give him a ticket for excessive noise from the exhaust that had passed all the tests and ITVs. Insurance was equally expensive and difficult.
