We would be looking to take a long term rent , somewhere with a shared pool close to the lively area , we will be visiting soon with a view to moving out in the Autumn. Hi. Do it. It's fantastic. There are lots of hairdressers so Elaine may get part time job and you should get something during summer but not sure other times so make sure bar/restaurant is open out of season. Try yvette at mar menor lets. She has been superb in sorting something for us after problem after problem with rainbow properties

Oh yes. We go to a coffee morning every Monday at 11am at the garden restaurant, isla de tarbaca. Met loads of people. Strip, Río Nalon,  is full of bars and restaurants with mixture of nationalities and lots of English bars and restaurants if you want that sort of thing. Bingo, karaoke, quiz nights, live music - it's all in or around los alcázares. Superb venue
