Hahaha, forgive me for laughing, but I've read SO MANY posts on here where people have an opinion, quite wrongly, of Camposol and its problems. It's refreshing to see someone ask the same type of question of another area of Spain. It doesn't matter where you live in the world, at some point we will all be faced with some sort of problem regarding the weather. Good luck with your search Medblue21 and if ever you are passing by Camposol, please drop in, you're more than welcome. ( Don't forget the wellies). Hahaha😉👍.

I don't think any area of Los Alcazares is particularly prone to flooding but parts of it did get flooded in 2016 during exceptionally severe storms that affected Murcia.

Use your common sense, avoid areas near to dry river beds or streams, they will flood when in rains and look out for clearing channels in urbanisation as these are often run off areas in the rain.

Look on Google earth and you will often spot natural water courses that are dried up and invisible close up.

Better still buy on a hill which is what I did, my house is 150 feet above sea level on the El Carmoli hill!

Hi all - ref the flooding are there problems around the area of the Hotel 525?

We’re looking at purchasing an apartment in Los Narejos down near  the beach at Los Palmares.

Also are there any problems getting insurance against flooding in the area?  Probably a daft question!

Would appreciate your thoughts.
