HI, I normally live in Andalucia in Malaga province, but during school term times at the moment I’m living in Balsicas.  We’re on the public system, and I need to register as a temporary patient because  I have some blood tests which need to be done around the first week in December while I’m here, but are for my oncology review in Malaga just before Christmas.  Struggling to find my nearest public health medical centre … is there maybe one in San Javier I can use?

Balsicas comes under torre pacheco so you should go and register with the medical centre there. Its the centro de salud in torre pacheco called ernest lluch. I believe there is a doctors in balsicas but usually you have to register with the main medical centre for your area first. The alternative is going to a private medical centre such as virgen de la caridad in san javier and paying for the tests.

Thanks Dax, very helpful.  I’ll go and register at Torre Pacheco as suggested …. I have to have so many different blood tests/TACs/MRIs and other stuff every three months I’d  be bankrupt within a year if I went privately!😀
