My son has sold his duplex on Playa ll after many years of happy holidays, across the road from where we have a duplex on the stretch of 'Lo Sola' town houses (we did not want a pool). We both bought during the peak fo buying in early 2000's and paid too much! Now these propertied are fairly good value for money, though are now over 20 years old and some need maintenance (i.e. MDF skirtings and Architraves should be examined for water absorption and swelling. Any wall cracks can easily be filled and are natural in such houses but try to get one with a south/south-East aspect for best sun. The pool is not heated but for young kids, they don't seem to mind and it is very safe and clean. Non-residents there cannot get in unless invited by an owner/ renter. Check the kitchen as some need updating and back doors need a good lock as burglars have been known to come over the side gates and force back doors (not common). These houses have no Fibre unless retro-fitted so worth checking for Broadband, though small dishes can be fitted (Teleast on the 525 Square) for a slow broadband. It's a good section of this development generally and popular, and is the newest of the three sections of Playa Houses, being a short walk to the 'Square'. Lastly, it's good to check the 'persianas (roller blinds) are all in good order as many are time-expired with frayed cords and sticky rollers etc - also if the electricity is rated for 6 kW as 3kW is normally too low and will trip if some appliances (i.e. oven/heater etc. are switched on. I speak from experience as have spent many 'happy' hours in my son's house maintaining various bits and bobs!. Good luck! George
