Downloading Padron for Driving Licence Swap from Los Alcazares town Hall

Take your passport and most recent padron certificate into the OMITA office in the CISSMU section of the Los Narejos health centre - you may need to put yourself on a waiting list, but the helpful lady will do the application for you and you should be able to go back and collect it the next day. There was no charge when I did it a couple of months ago.

Sterling - many thanks - really appreciate this - we will try this.  Don't mind having to pay it is the nause of queuing up at the Town Hall for something that we already have at the crack of dawn!  Some other councils I see from searching the web allow you to do this on-line but Los Alcazares don't seem to have thsi function on their website.

Take your passport as that's all our town hall ask for when renewing

follow the link on the town hall website to tramites....then padron de habitaction then acesso con certificado digital...although ours is Torre Pacheco it will be similar for Los Alcazares....

Sadly Los Alcazares seems to be stuck in the stone age.  It is not an option as you can see from the screen shot.  I can download my existing Padron but cannot get a "refreshed" one with a date that would be good for the next 3 months!  The validation document option just gives an option to print the existing Padron.  Other Councils are well ahead in offering this service it seems.

Many thanks - yes we have learnt to carry everything with us bar the house!  We have also learnt not to second guess what they might want so carry a wad of documents we think they will want from Passports to bank statements :)

Does anyone know where I can renew my Spanish driving licence in Los Alcazares please.

If you go to town hall the wait for padrón is not too long,went last week and got straight in

Thought padrón lasts three months not 4 years??
