Murcia Region
The Covid Monitoring Committee of the Region of Murcia, met this Monday afternoon and have decided to maintain the current measures for another week, although some areas have changed “colour” (risk level). Therefore, the curfew maintains at 10 p.m., and (in the majority of the region) the interior capacity of the bars continues at 30%, with a maximum of two people per table (if not from same household) and on terraces, 100% capacity & tables of groups of up to four people (if not from same household), or more people if all belong to the same household. Only two of the eight municipalities that were at extreme risk (red areas) last week continue with this level of alert.
These are Caravaca de la Cruz and Puerto Lumbreras.
Due to these increases, both towns will continue to have a perimetral closure and will not be able to open the interior of their bars and restaurants.
Compared to last week, cases have slowed in Abarán, Ceutí, Fuente Álamo, Torre Pacheco, Alhama de Murcia and Ulea, so they will no longer be classed as “extreme risk” areas (red areas) and will no longer have perimeter confinement. They will also be able to open the interior of bars & restaurants. These measures come into effect as of Wednesday 10th March
