Strange water heater problem

Occasionally, our butane water heater fails to light and I can cure it by turning off the gas at the cylinder, removing the pipe to release the pressure, and then reattaching the pipe. What I find strange is that we had the same problem in our previous house with a different heater and gas regulator.

Any ideas, or can you recommend anyone in the Mazarron area who could help us?
