Has the weekly Camposol market started again?
Yes it has.
I thought the council put the kybosh on it?
I think it was perhaps more to do with COVID than the council.

I was at the Camposol market last Thursday -. Possibly just open for the tourist season July/August, and if no one supports it it will close again.
Tdhe Port Sunday market never closed entirely. but is severely restriced even now.

Where did you get that information? We're moving to sector A in September and we were planning to visit the weekly market every thursday for fresh fruit and vegetables, etc. Would hate to see it go again.

Nothing concrete Bugsy, but it did not return after covid clearance. and and things here do tend to centre around holidaymakers. The residents did not support it all the time when it was at it's best.and you cannot rely on it if there is no profit to be made. There are other markets round the area Totana and Alhama both very good and quite big.

Ok, let's hope the weekly market on Camposol will remain busy post Covid. Maybe people will appreciate it more now after experiencing a long absence of the market during the Covid pandemic. I do know we'll be weekly visitors if the market stays after the summer holiday period.
