To enter France you need to have ready a special form now, saying that you are only entering to leave it for another country. Look at the invaluable N332 Facebook page.

The E.U. closed the borders yesterday for people not living in the Schengen zone and this for a period of 30 days. So I suppose you won't be allowed to get in.

And Spain closed its borders with Portugal and France yesterday, so unless those trying to cross the border are Spanish nationals or Spanish residents, they ain't comin' in!

Driving licence renewal has been suspended, along with ITVs. They should now step up the patrols and deal with the odd few wandering about in pairs, or stood chatting. With deserted streets it can look like a mugger's paradise.

this will take 6 months, at least, you will not be able to leave uk unless tested, spain will test their own, too, i  dont think there will be any movement, incase of another out break, remember the spanish flu came in 3 waves, 3rd killed the most,

keep safe

Out of all the above messages oink does not need to go back to school to learn all about commonsence. What a good analysis and projection for the next 6 months.Unfortunately for me I'm stuck in the UK wanting to go home to Spain. But hayho that's the way it is.How people think it's all going to be done and dusted in a few weeks is beyond me.Anyway well said ooinky.

This sort of post has no use whatsoever: it is all speculation, guesswork and only show that some people have to say something when they have nothing to say.

Read between the lines it says (6 months)it also says people will get tested coming in /out.I would ask you to come back in 6 months and tell us it's all speculation then.Simple truth is it's gathering pace as we speak and 6 months is a good marker for us all.Not the idiots who think it will all be over with in 3 weeks like the press keep asking on the daily conference the government give.Sorry but why even ask the question about lifting a lockdown when the bloody virus is still growing?.For me that's a total wasted question from the press. So my friend I will make time in 6 months just for you and we shall see how things pan out.
