Roberto is correct. There is no restriction on the length of time one can rent a vehicle. The only restriction is however long the rental company is willing to rent for!

My husband and I are coming over 19th December -31st December trying to hire a car is a nightmare we have tried all the car companies .The cheapest quote we have been given is around the €330 .What has happened to the prices ???

 Its a normal supply and demand price situation. 

Many people whose cars were flooded in Los Alcazares have rented cars.

Hence price rises

Flamenca show a Corsa from Corvera for 19/31 Dec @€282...remember if you fly Ryanair they have a price promise - free hire if you find cheaper.

Totally agree, hire a car for peanuts and the slightest scratch or blemish and cost will come off your €1200 excess deposit, go direct with car hire company have their insurance and pay around €130 a week on a smallish car.You cant expect to hire a car for a couple of euros a day, the car hire will go bust in a few weeks.

Hi, I find corvero quite expensive, so I fly to alicante, more options on flights and cheaper car hire, i.e recordgo, and have quiet a nice drive down to mazarron.
