You are allowed to drive a non M.O.T.'d or taxed car directly to a PRE-ARRANGED M.O.T. test. But you MUST be sure the garage has you booked in....

Alsi, depending on valué and your plans, registrar It in Spain. You would have to pay tax. Best to use a Spanish gestor.
