I might be missing something but I only have a fridge/ freezer in the property running at the moment, nothing else. My electricity bill is around 40 euros a month currently with iberdrola. The cost of running the fridge/freezer is I appreciate tiny (as you have explained) but the standing charge is high.

Do you have any other services from Ibderola for example similar to British Gas home care package??? Our Bill's around the 30 to 40 euro mark, all we have is fridge and freezer.

Yes but you will be on a 5 KW supply. It will tell you on your iberdrola bill.

I am on a 3.3 KW supply therefore my standing charge etc etc is about 14.50 euro per month with NO usage.

Roland - I think you are being mischeivous. I am willing to bet a pension that no one in Spain has a monthly bill of 1.2 Euros!

So therefore Roland, the actual cost of running the fridge freezer per month is not 1.2 euros per month as it is not possible to run it without paying the standing charge. Anyway, I think you know that the OP really wanted to know the total cost (how much would they pay per month if all they run is a fridge freezer) you are just being pedantic and actually unhelpful.

If you have a 3.3 kw supply on Iberdrolas standard tariff & pay on receipt of your bill the cost to run a 1 third freezer 2 third fridge is 1.2 euro per month.

This included EVERYTHING, IVA, potencia, meter rental EVERYTHING.

I will now not be contributing any further to this thread.
