Yes. I killed a massive one last night. I have found 3 in around a week. Hate them.

Cockroaches are everywhere in hot countries. They don't have to be a problem though. Everyone will get the odd one occasionally in their property but if you take precautions before you have them you should be OK.

Buy a spray such as ORO which is sold in most supermarkets and spray around all external door openings and around the kitchen floor edges (do this a few times a year)

Also put insect netting over all vents that you can find (there may be some in bathrooms on the ceiling) and put mosquito netting or screens over all windows and door grills. This cuts down on their access.

We also took the kickboards off and put ant powder (which also kills Cockroaches ) under the cupboards before placing the kickboards back. Also puff the powder under freezer /fridges and washing machines etc....all helps.

Prevention is better than cure.
