Super helpful member
Looks like a bird of paradise plant.
Leaves and flower bud are all wrong for the common varieties of strelitzia (bird of paradise), possibly a clivia. Lovely looking plant, hoping to put a bank of these in ourselves once allowed out.

De Nada.
Another one I want to try is a Gloriosa, trip to Bolnuevo garden centre is going to be expensive :-)

Their is an app you can download - think it’s called plantscan or something like that - you just take a photo of the plant or tree and it will tell you what species it is. Try googling to get exact name of app. looks a lovely plant though.

Ok, sorry, not a clivia then.
It is an amaryllis, that was my other thought but got it wrong and chose the wrong option, sorry.
Still a lovely big showy flower though.
