Hello Jenny, yes, we are to your right. All of the developers houses have now been completed. We have only seen a couple of arrivals back in August and to our right the house is owned by a very nice Belgian couple. They are like you and have no chance of getting out here for a while seeing as Bel...

Lets hope we can meet up soon; this virus (and Brexit) is causing havoc everywhere.

Hi Jenny, no we haven't yet seen any huge increase in our Iberdrola Electricity bill.

The highest we have paid to date was €120 but mostly were around €50.

We had a lot of issue with Iberdrola to begin with due to the incorrect siting of our meter (ours was where neighbour to our right was and vice versa). Once this was corrected things seem to have settled somewhat.

We keep things like Heated floors and the pool pump to a minimum and even though the house is Eco friendly with LED lights etc we turn off what we don't use but this is more likely to be because of being aware of costs due to the old UK systems. It might be worth you asking whoever looks after your place to check Electrical items have not been left on by mistake.

I hope this doesn't sound too 'commercial' but I am already considering going into Property Management out here for a reason not to have to go back to the UK for work so if I could be of help in the future please let me know.

Cheers (oh and Happy New Year)

Our bills can be so different but sometimes it states 21 days and our latest bill was 42 days.

When we first moved here we were told the flags were to do with the colourful pigeons that race around sometimes but halving read the comments here our flags have now all gone as the houses are all complete.  Hope you guys are all safe abd you get to travel to your homes soon
