Has anyone taken a dog on a flight from Uk in cabin .

Some airlines allow small dogs in a carrier in the cabin at your feet but struggling to get a flight from Uk to Alicante?

If you take a ferry to Norway then Norwegian Airlines permit a very small amount of cats or dogs within the Shengen area. I have never heard of any airline allowing pets in the cabin from the UK.

Dogs can fly OUT of the UK in the cabin but NOT into the UK in the cabin. So if you were planning to go back to the UK with the dog you could have a problem.

The max weight of a dog allowed in the cabin is around 8kg. To Alicante from the uk the only option is TUI. It's very expensive and I think they may have to go in the hold. As PeterC said there are European airlines that will allow dogs in the cabin but you'd have to get to Norway, Holland or France first! I know KLM and Air France allow pets  in the cabin.

TUI from Belgium to Alicante is €50 one way in the cabin, €80 in the hold. Brugges and Antwerp from Corvera. Limited spaces available, so need to book ahead. TUI is not much more expensive in general as they include 1 piece of hand luggage.I'm pretty sure Vueling is about the same.

Not surprised, dogs that travel in the cabin are not allowed to disembark anywhere in uk
