Has anybody dealt with Hidrogera regarding re-conecting your water?

Our water was cut off last year and I am trying to get it re-connected but having a nightmare with Hidrogea. They want me to start a new contract which is fine, but they do not know what they are doing on the phone, they are rude and very unhelpful. They just tell me to go to the office in Torro Pocheco, which is not possible as Im in the UK.

They would not speak to my solicitor in Spain.

They tell me I now need a new occupation certificate from the town hall, even though my original occupation certificate was issued less than 10 years ago.

They say I also need a 'Boletin' certificate from a plumber!! How am I supposed to get this?

All in all, they are terrible to deal with and I am getting no where fast. We are due to fly out on July 29th and we have 2 small children and no water at our apartment!

I have already spent hours and hours trying to get this sorted. If anybody thinks they can help I would be very grateful.

I really need to get my water reconnected before July 29th

If your solicitor has Power of Attorney then they should be able to deal with it for you.

Hi - just wondering how you got on. 3 years down the line - we are in exactly the same boat and they will not talk to us over the phone. They just keep putting the phone down. How did you resolve your issue?

Many Thanks

Lynne
