I would sagest you contact the local council I am sure they will have all the information you need.

I have a bus pass for Murcia City which gives me 100 free journeys on the tram and city buses, there was no cost for this and they renew when you have used your 100 journeys.

Hope this helps

Hi Ted there is a gold card for people in your age bracket. Ours was for the train but there is probably one for buses also.

It's a reduced fare, a good reduction - I'm not sure what the percentage is but think is 60% off. If you are resident it may be free.  You will need a passport and your residency card. We are not residents and were able to get ours in a travel agents. That was in San Pedro del Pinatar.

That's a shame but yes, if you are 55 or over you can get a Gold card which gives you something like either 40 or 60% off rail fares & I think you can get a similar one for buses too. All you need is your passport and NIE or, if you are a resident, then bring your residents card too.

We got ours in the travel agents and they renew once a year. It cost €5 last time we got one about three years ago. Hope this helps.
