The UK voting to leave the EU has caused uncertainty among expats here in Aguilas.

There is not going to be any noticeable change to expats situation for at least the coming year so there is no point in panicking.

Emergency health care is and will remain Free and only long term care is something the Uk and Spain will have to agree upon over the coming 2 years - and is most likely to remain as it is now.

I have already been made aware of both sides of the argument and have been contacted by one english person who has decided not to purchase here in Aguilas, whilst another, a UK resident is still determined to leave the UK as soon as he can sell his overpriced property and move to Aguilas.

Whatever you decide to do, don´t rush and make a  mistake that could prove costly. The world is not going to end, the sun will still rise each morning and living here remains a  great choice for most.

I would like to update the posting I made a  couple of days ago.

The one english person I spoke with who had decided against purchasing in Spain has reviewed their decision and changed their mind completely.

After getting over the initial shock they have decided to buy a  property in Aguilas as having visited on a  few occasions, they realise that the cost of living here is so much lower than the UK that their quality of life here will be superior and decided now is the right time for them.

The world did not end as some had predicted. Its a  pity there was so much negativity and falsehoods during the dirty campaign in the UK.

It´s over now so let´s move on and be positive and make this world a  happier place.

Track down a long lost Irish relative and apply for an Irish Passport problem solved

We are lucky in that moving out here from N Ireland allows us both UK and Irish passports

Watching UK TV it is sad to see the Media looking for stories to hype up their readership

Whatever happened to being a good loser personally i was not bothered either way but can see benefits in both

however now after listening to the arrogance of the French and to some extent the Germans if the vote was tomorrow I would vote leave and Listening to Obama in the U.S special relationship ??? the UK go to the back of the queue? Trump says he would push through any trade deals, I did not like trump but he has redeemed himself.

But whatever now its over let everyone get together and push to get The Uk back to where it should be and also get the finance Stable I am sure in or out the UK will survive and the closed borders will help, it is a small island with an input of 383,000 net immigration that it can not possibly sustain.

So Newspapers stop running the UK down and trying to stir up trouble, Just to get a story, its over and the remain lost.

The worst part now days is these know all politician who say the public did not vote for a hard Brexit or did not want to leave the European community yet that is exactly what people voted for and where we offered hard soft Brexit would we know what it meant?

Get rid of politicians countries just want money

Lets  hope they follow the will of the people and not those of people  who think they know what people are thinking

Whatever the UK will come out good if they stop running it down
