4 courses of what ..for €9 I think you are referring to a poor quality menu of the day ....Camposol is no more expensive than any other place ..(.I have been in Spain for 11 year's)....in any pub back in the UK you can get 2 good main meals for £10.coffee/tea is £1 per cup.

Absolutely not...great quality Spanish food!! Avoid the English bars and restaurants and use small local ones!

We would definitely want to eat at Spanish places

Chrissywhissy you are so right.I have lived in Spain for 30 odd years but up in the north of Alicante ,not Benidorm, which may be more expensive. You can get a good meal out for a modest price. My daughter is married to a Spanish man,Spanish granddaughter so we eat mostly in Spanish restaurants. You may though have to expect the whole family of Spanish eating at the next table. But why live in Spain if you can't accept that.

Hi
We are looking at moving to Camposol full time for early retirement. What monthly costs can we expect? There is just 2 of us and we like the size of the Rebecca villas.

Any info would be welcome. It's all very overwhelming at this early stage!

Hi Sharon
I to agree with chrissywissy you can live very well on a normal income suggesting that you need 18000 a year is ridiculous.unless of course you want to buy just English products eat out every day and lead a "Holiday Lifestyle"
A Spanish waiter and most people within the service industries are lucky if they earn 1000Euro a month and that is before tax and they seem to have a good life.
I am fortunate enough to live in both Murcia City and La Ribera and do not have the suggested income, in the city I have a bus pass as I am a pensioner that dose not receive a Spanish pension, this gives me free travel on Buses and Trams.
I have been in Spain for over 20 years and did have the pleasure of owning a property on Camposol for 14 years
Kind regards
Ed
Just an after thought!! how much would you have to earn in England to take home 18000 a year??
