Are there any other providers of fibre optic on A sector, Telitec were supposed to be installing in my house next week, they tell me today that they are unable to gain access to the fibre optic boxes, and won’t be attending , they never explained why, anyone know what’s going on ?

No idea what's going on I am afraid. 

It sounds like a typical Spanish way of going on !!

Perhaps they have not laid the cables in your street or to you property.

Have a look in the big box outside your property you will see some new co axial cable going to a small grey box with some numbers stuck on it.

That will be your cabled connection it is NOT fibre OPTIC to the property.

Maybe they mean they cannot access ( or have not been given permission ) to access the fibre optic main boxes ??

Bizarre situation when they are running round Camposol knocking on doors & trying to sell you their system..............

I had 100mb fibre installed on sector B, fantastic is the word I'd use. Downloaded windows 10 in 7 minutes that's about 3.5 gig. It came down at 65mb/sec. So far had no outages at all compared to compuserf who turn the internet off at fairly regular intervals for short periods. How anyone could ever need the 300mb service is beyond me though unless you're  a business user. This is purely my experience with the different providers and others may be different. If I was recommending a service this is the one to choose if you want speed.

Hi I am one of those that have the 300/300 I can understand your exitement for the 100. But in my line of work you never can have to much. I work with distance support and I have three separate connections at the same, some times even four or more. 

I must say I have worked as proffessional IT Technician for over 30 years and I am very pleased with the product I have used it both on B and now on D and I have tried 30/30 100/100 and now 300/300 

So i can give my full recomendation for Telitec

Since we use a VPN Connection thru A Citrix Connection, that has not been on my mind, I have no use of static IP adresses but I Think that they will deliver one if you ask them

We have a house in El Carmoli, Cartagena from the 1st Nov looking for a super fast broadband system as my wife and I work from home, planning to be in spain 17-24 Nov so looking to get this installed then and moving in beginning of Dec 2029
