An aerial will only give you the local Spanish TV channels. If you have decent internet then get a Firestick and a VPN and you'll be able to watch TV from virtually anywhere in the world.

Hi Janet,

generally better and cheaper to use your internet to get your TV service, it tends to give you more choice and certainly cheaper than investing in tech that is not really supported anymore

If you look on Facebook at one of the Camposol pages I think his name is "TV Man Spain" he will supply a box and you just pay a fee for a set amount of years for the service (normally between £50 and £150 for 1 year or 5 years respectively, the box is on top but only about £20-£40)

hope this helps or gives you more options

I believe UK satellite TV will come to an end next year so no point spending any money on it now.

Firestick is great, but not for recording as far as I can tell? Prefer to record most stuff to be able to blast the adverts. Only my preference though.

Most IPTV packages that can be downloaded to a Firestick are the same as any other type of IPTV package, most of which offer 7 or 14 day catchup on most of the channels. You can also fast-forward through the adverts on these!
