Hola   as a couple you will fit in at Sierra Golf    if you are looking to buy   just drive around the estate    lots for sale

take a look at the house prices     very good

when things get back to "normal"  whatever that is    a golf club   and two other bars     as yet no shop

you will need a car        not far to San Javier   then the beach at Santiago de la Ribera

In Balsicas  each Thursday (reopen soon) a market in the afternoon    El Ray  (next to petrol station)  nice coffee  & food    live music some nights     then  Spanglish  very nice food   (ran by two great men) music most nights    and on a Friday Fish & Chips

Also many shops  (if they survive the lock down)   the tabac sell english papers

Santander is good for a bank

The Doctor is in La Tercia   (never been but told the Doctor speaks English)      one tip   when it rains we can have flash flooding   make sure

you live "high up"

Hi, can't fault Dave's advice there, Sierra golf has a real community feel to it, plenty of residents as well as holiday homes - from all sorts of counytries too. Obviously a big UK contingent. A quick ride down to the shops / beaches and VERY quiet when you want it to be..... We love sitting on the back patio or the roof and just chin wagging the night away as we watch the night creep in...

Take care regards solicitors / lawyers etc, ask around and pick a good one that speaks English. If you want to see what's available propertrty wise prior to coming out speak to Laura at Propertunities - if you private message me I'll give you her number or check out the website - https://www.propertunities.es/

Hello Ian. We are also on Sierra Golf, we moved here in December. As Dave said You would fit in here, it’s a great community and 2 nice small bars where there is entertainment, quiz nights at the weekend are really good ( hopefully they will be open again soon) Properties good value for money and 20 mins away is San Javier, San Pedro and other places. Good luck.

Hello - absolutely NEVER.... Don't see or hear any air traffic, I guess the flight paths aren't near us....

then saying that I have not seen any planes for months   or any pubs open  not even a coffee house

Ian, bear in mind ours is a holiday home so when we're allowed to work we both work full time in the UK and get about 5 weeks a year out there.

Genuinely we don't see or hear any planes.
