Hi . We hopefully finally move into our new holiday home in august in Calasparra .
many services are requiring us to have a Spanish phone number . For the first couple of years it will solely be a holiday home as per the regulations allowed .
I have unlimited data in Europe on my own Vodafone . Advice please .

Hi, Hughie. We've had a holiday home not too far away from you for 3 years and have managed without a Spanish telephone number so far. Like you, we use our roaming data. What services are you struggling with?

Ah, I see. There could be 2 options for you. The estate agent that sells the house to you sort of becomes an ongoing contact when you're in Spain, and they become really helpful and useful people. So you could ask to use their telephone number as a contact number. Failing that, look at Lobster to supply you with a sim card/Spanish phone number as that can be switched on and off when you need it and you'd only need the cheapest package. Which estate agent are you using?

You can purchase a cheap mobile and use the number that comes with the phone' you only need to top it up with 5 euros.

No problem using your UK number. Alternatively do for Lobster for Spanish service.
You might find that Spanish banking apps will only allow a Spanish mobile number.
My wife and l have Spanish mobile numbers through Lowi. They are very good. Paul
