Hi, My wife and i are looking at purchasing a property in Spain within the next two years. We will be cash buyers and wanted to find out any information regarding Brexit.

We also wish to here from anyone who can advise on day to day living and the costs.

Thanks

What will happen with Brexit is unknown especially with the government charged with delivering it. So who knows. I would imagine that there will be deals done with xpats in both countries. Day to day costs definitely cheaper in Spain but you would need to make lists of all your different out goings and compare them individually. Best of luck.

If you think that there a lot of laws and red tape in the UK wait until you get here! Padron for nearly everything. Medical for Spanish driving licence etc etc. Your first 6 months will be dealing with one piece of paper or another. But it is still a lot cheaper than the UK.

I’m sure if things were reversed and you were a migrant going into Britain to live there would be plenty of red tape. As they say “you can’t beat Townhall”.
