Diclofenac Causes as Many Heart Attacks as Vioxx (which has been forbidden) 

I have been on Diclofenaco for many years without problems as treatment for arthritis. When I am bad they give me injections, other times I take the tablets. It is an anti inflammatory and whereas I cannot take any other anti inflammatory as they give me stomach problems, Diclofenaco never does. 

Diclofenaco is an active ingredient in many other medicines such as Voltarol, it is also available combined with paracetamol It is a component in many eye drops and creams. There are too many other medicines containing Diclofenaco to mention here. Look it up on Google.

I believe what you say but I don't trust "big pharma" :-) I take turmeric for inflammations, baking soda for blatter infections, a supplement made from algae instead of chemical sunscreen etc. Chemical drugs treat the symptoms, not the cause. But that this exactly what they want. A healed patient is a lost patient.

Hi Wendy sorry to hear about the pain you are in. I had a similar problem & years ago had an epidural for a pain blocker. Fab it worked for 5 years 👍 However, it is back again 😞 I have just had a pain blocker in my back to see if this is the nerve that is giving me all the pain. Since having this done no pain 😁 It is amazing. They  now know which nerve is causing me the pain & they will now use radiofreqency denervation to kill the nerve. All caused due to a disc. I will let you know how I get on once the have completed this procedure. Hope this may help you if you visit another Consultant. It's done. They give a local anaesthetic via cannual go via the back & all completed within 2 hours. I ha e been on meds for years before this. So know how you feel. Annoyed as it was done at worked & my Ward Manager did not fill out an incident form or this may have been sorted sooner.
