Hello everyone
i am considering buying a property on Campasol but am worried for my German Girlfriend if there are other Germans on Campasol as her English is not too good if there is a German community that would be perfect, any information would be much appreciated

Several German families/couples on Camposol. Would not directly call it a German community.

Welcome, most people on Camposol could not care less who anyone is, all they care about is getting along and we all love a good time, I could not speak a word of any language other than English but if people see you trying to integrate/speak the language they will help and they will slow down a little and join in the laugh to make you and your Girlfriend feel comfortable

We have a very good friend on Camposol who is German and there is definitely a German community on Camposol.

Eines Tages Komme ich auch dahin. Einege von Uns haben Scon zeit in Deutschland verbracht. Spanien ist wie Deutchland - nur warmer!

There are a number of German people on Camposol & the number is rising each year.
I have a German neighbour (two door along), unusually she has no English at all. She's 84 !
There is also a large Dutch community. Many of them speak German.

wir sind auch Deutsche und haben ein Ferienhaus in Sector C. Die meisten Nachbarn sind aus UK und ich spreche etwas englisch und mein Mann gar nicht. Trotzdem haben wir einen super Kontakt und ganz liebe Nachbarn, die alle sehr tolerant sind, was die Sprache anbelangt. Wir gehen zusammen aus und haben viel Spaß. Das sollte also kein Hinderungsgrund sein nach Camposol zu kommen. Es gibt auch, wie schon geschrieben, Nachbarn aus den Niederlanden oder Belgien, die auch deutsch sprechen. Also nur Mut, es lohnt sich! Übrigens haben mir hier einige Mitglieder mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, als es um unseren Hauskauf ging. Dafür waren und sind wir sehr dankbar. Gutes Gelingen und viele Grüße aus Deutschland.

Nevertheless, we have great contact and very nice neighbors who are all very tolerant when it comes to the language. We go out together and have a lot of fun. So that shouldn't be an obstacle to coming to Camposol. As already mentioned, there are also neighbors from the Netherlands or Belgium who also speak German. So be brave, it's worth it!
