That's good to know thankyou Helen. We are allowing 800 a month for all bills and shopping so our total allowance of 1500 should be plenty without touching our savings

Thankyou Helen. We arrive in 2 weeks for our 1st proper stay in our new home. We bought on D and staying nearly 3 weeks. Can't wait until we can take our early retirement and move out.

So 1000 euros per month Should be enough for me on my own. OR am i still Missing something.

You've heard the saying "2 can live as cheaply as 1" but yes you should be ok as long as you're not renting

€250 per week is a good figure ...for one person to live on you will have a good life style / eating/drinking out socializing and so forth as long as you have bought a place outright good luck enjoy.
