Transferring direct debits to Wise Euro Account - Page 3

I've a Santander UK account (& mortgage!) as well... I'm now thinking that a good mix of all suggestions might cover me!!

If you have a Santander debit card you can withdraw cash from a Santander branded ATM in Spain with no charges.

Make sure that when you are given the option to select without dynamic conversion.

I know I have to write to Ibodrola and the other services but where do I find these contact details please.

I have no idea where to start!

I need Ibodrola, the Water and waste Company who operate on Camposol. IBI, Car Tax.

Does anyone know all of these? Can I do this via email or do I have to go in, in person bearing in mind I have no possibility of coming over to Camposol until later in the year.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi I have my Spanish bank account with bankinter of wich they charge me 98 euros per year for banking with them. Plus if I make transfer of cash from uk bank  transfer. They charge me 12 euros commission on every transfer. Do I have a alternative option in spain for my money. Any advice is appreciated rgds Robert

I never get any invoices! The money is just withdrawn from my bank account!

Do you retain a solicitor to look after your tax affairs in Spain ??

If so ask them to change your DD for you.

If not go to each utilities website & sign up to receive online bills.

Then change your bank details online.

Yep. Always has been like that. I never questioned it as I thought it was like that for everyone 😢
