Wanted: portable air-con unit - Page 2

Hi Chrissy

Portable air cons are noisy but very efficient at providing cold air as they are basically refrigeration units and they are quite heavy. Air coolers are just fans with added water which becomes warm quickly and then works as just a fan recirculating warm air around. EG. Car cold selection fan on(cool not cold) then set AC which gives cold air that fan only couldn't.

Hi Pauline, ye of little faith, 20 km l literally cycle 30km everyday.....although not carrying "a world class top of the range best bargain mobile air-con in the world£...on my back my mobile is ,0044 07864 757914. my lift and l will set of at about 10.40 am...thanks

John, are you being serious (not the 30kms riding) but you are really coming to collect this and when? Tomorrow? No problem any time is fine,

....yes, of course, l cycle 30-40 km every day,  try to hit 700 press-ups along the way, take a swim midway.. do you have a google maps ref /co-ordinate.. l will check to confirm with my lift as you are a little further than anticipated..

You are better to wait at the Ferri building, large store just off A31 and we ll meet you there. Input Ferri, Villena and when you get there turn right and 1st right and park up along side the building. Then phone me on 07791356531 and we, ll come in 5 mins.

Brilliant preparing for a grand day out,  so excited, my friend Gordon will be doing the driving, such a kind man but a wee bit panicky. 

Thank you for this the coolest of the two would be my preference  even at the expense of sound.

I, ll set up both and you can decide. We had house in Gran Alacant where we bought them but as we only visited April and October the humidity and heat wasn't bad enough to get use of them. We've had this house years and they ve been stored in bedroom and never used here as no humidity and always a cool wind. Give me a ring from Ferri

Just got back from Gordon with directions and he does not feel comfortable driving that distance( he is 72),  l dint realize you were quite so far sorry.. Can't make it to collect. I could not confirm this as he retires for the day at 2.00pm (l think with a bottle of white) and won't answer the door. He looked surprised to see me this morning so he may have forgot yesterdays agreement.

So sorry , was looking forward to the day and the eventual prize.

No problem John, I was extremely sceptical regarding the distance anyway. Googled and 160kms was some journey. For anyone needing one closer to Villena and reading this, I have 2 for sale.
