try widening your search as I have found the Closer to Camposol the costlier the cars become as we appear to be easy pickings for high prices 

we eventually purchased from a garage in Los Alcazares and got a 1 owner from new 130000kms 2003 Seat Cordoba TDI which I have now passed onto my father in law and we bought a car private locally from a wonderful family whom had maintained the car to mechanical perfection 

deals come around quite frequently so look on the charity sites on Facebook there was a 2011 Seat Leon for sale for €5000 which is very cheap for a great car  

if you need advice on best hire companies please send me a message as the prices can vary wildly (the last hire I hired in April cost €1.71 per day)
