Make of printer?
What operating system & version? (Windows, Linux, Android or Apple thing, )

How is the printer currently connected?

Via:

WiFi
Network cable (ethernet)
USB cable direct to laptop

I have 3 windows 10 laptops, they all access the printer via WiFi, seamlessly.

Enable file and printer sharing in Windows.

Name the printer and set it as shareable, then you can access the printer from all computers on the same network.

If the printer is WiFi enabled even easier - just connect via WiFi to the printer - depending on the age of the printer, you may have WiFi Direct, otherwise you should be able to find it by scanning for it.

You can get the printer IP address usually by printing a config page from the printer - it will likely be something like 192.168.1.10 - use this as the printer address.

Hope this helps - otherwise Google is your friend.
