Is that you personally  or just what you saw?

Personally think it would be a logistical nightmare and very time consuming to test every individual at both ends of the flight

Not sure that there is an easy solution to this because even if a vaccine is discovered we already see demonstrations against having it and even wearing masks so I believe there will always be an element of risk for years to come

I think it is up to the individuals to take as much precautions as they can and to weigh up the risks for themselves

The thermal image cameras are automatic and you probably won't even notice you have passed through them. I was stopped as the reading was high and then had the manual one which was fine

Not convinced all airports are prepared to pay for equipment especially when some might close due to the pressure on the aviation system

If it works and in place, like at the major London airports, then no issues for me. Anything that can install more confidence in passengers can only be a good thing

That being said, loving the low crowds and ease with which you currently get through the airports with minimum delays...!!

I think it is up to the individuals to take as much precautions as they can and to weigh up the risks for themselves

9/11 changed flying forever and we accepted the delays of security screening, this virus will inevitably make further changes to the way we travel, and possibly permanent.

Your own risk assessment might be totally different to the person next to you on the plane or at the airport. With the amount of complacency now growing, I don't think we can afford to leave it up to the individual, government(s) should take control. I doubt any of the thousands of youngsters attending the raves in the UK this weekend will have assessed any risk, it's just pure selfishness. The virus is still here and thriving, and having spent months virtually on hold, I don't think it worth the risk in flying anywhere at the moment even though I have business in Spain!

Until we have an effective vaccine I would support 100% checks/tests at all airports around the world. Yes it will take longer to process passengers, but we'll get used to it. At least it would be a level playing field.
