Hi there, just wondering if there is anyone on Camposol available to drive their van to  Ikea (Murcia) for us ? We will have a hire car but it won’t be big enough to fit a bed/sofa/chests of drawers etc in. We would drive the hire car to the Ikea for the bits n bobs needed, but wondered if anyone provides a service with their own van to accompany us? We will be needing to get to the Ikea ideally either the 6,7 or 8th November. Thanks

Have you thought to having Ikea deliver for you? Think the cost for our deliverys was around 40€ (memory not what it used to be) that was for 4 tall storage units, some smaller cupboards, a day bed and mattress, 2 shower fittings and a lot of other little bits. Saved us a lot of hassle and we'll worth it.

Thanks for that PhilTox, did you find it easy to arrange the delivery.....do they speak any English or would we need to give our basic Spanish a go?(eek!) . It sounds like it’s not too expensive at all for them to deliver.....we assumed it would be cheaper to try another way, but anything under €70 for delivery I think is a good deal.

We did the whole thing online, very easy, their website homepage has an option for English language. Make sure you choose from "penisular".

Having said that we have found a good many of the staff do speak good English, too my shame my Spanish is woefull😔

Thanks so much for your reply PhilTox, that’s really helpful to us. I’m sure now that this is the best way of doing it.

Also remember if you can a family card, you can get some good discounts with IKEA. We got ours in Murcia store, and many staff speech English. You can also hire a van from them, which again you can book online.

Regards

Would not trust IKEA with delivery. We spent over £1000 plus delivery and they failed to deliver. After numerous attempts we gave up and asked for a refund,  they get dreadful reviews. We used Ian Coulson,  he met us at the store after we re - bought the items and helped load and unload, really good and reasonable, 50 euros. Here is his number  +34634338121 hope this helps.
