Thanks to whoever reported our car as abandoned. It has just been towed away and will cost about €1k to get back.
So much for the friendly, caring community! It seems that there are too many people around here who have too much time on their hands.
Did your car look abandoned? Excessively dirty, damaged, flat tyres?
How long had it been left in the same place - I assume on a public road? Was it causing an obstruction?
Is it taxed, insured & registered to you at the address it was 'abandoned' at? The Police would normally check all the above before arranging for the car to be towed...

What makes you think that someone reported it? It might have just been the police driving around and reporting vehicles that have been parked in the same place for a long time or maybe looked abandoned?
Bear in mind that this person posted a message on here about a Red Cross van kidnapping her son on Camposol.
The post has since been removed.
Just saying that's all.
