hi moving to camposol in june driving our car over mercedes slk 230 just wondering if this is a good idea and how much insurance and road tax would be is there anything else you have to pay because its on english plates thankyou

As you will be classed as a resident you will need to register the car immediately on arrival... The approximate cost is around €1,000 to have it replated...you can pick up LHD lights from eBay UK ...if your car requires them ..car insurance in Spain is much the same as you would pay in the UK so shop around road tax is cheaper especially on big cars ....Be warned the Spanish MOT center's do not like modified cars ..so if you car is not as per manufactured supplied it will not pass.good luck enjoy Camposol.
